• Device information: device type, operating system, app identifiers and crash data, used to improve performance.
• Communications: messages exchanged in the app and with our support team.

How we use your information

• To provide ride and delivery services and connect riders with captains.
• To show the captain’s location and estimated arrival time and share order status.
• To verify captains’ identity and eligibility to drive.
• To improve safety and prevent fraud and misuse.
• To answer your questions and provide technical support.
• To improve the app and develop new services.
• To send notifications about your account or trips. You can turn off promotional notifications at any time.

Sharing information

• Between rider and captain: we share names, photos, ratings and pickup and drop-off points, plus the captain’s vehicle details and plate number, only as needed to complete the trip.
• Service providers: hosting, maps, messaging and analytics partners who work on our behalf and are bound to protect your data.
• Authorities: when there is a binding legal request or to protect users’ safety.
• We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as legal obligations or dispute resolution require, then delete it or make it anonymous.

Information security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access limited to authorised staff and continuous system monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
