Definitions

• Meshwar: our platform, apps and website.
• Rider or user: anyone who requests a ride or delivery through the app.
• Captain: a registered, approved driver who provides rides or deliveries through the app.

The service

Meshwar is a technology platform that connects riders with independent captains for taxi, shared ride, hourly hire with a driver, intercity travel and delivery services. Captains are not Meshwar employees and provide the service independently.

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity on it.
• Meshwar may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms.

Fares and payment

• Estimated fares are shown before you confirm a request. With “Name your price”, riders can propose a fare and captains choose whether to accept it.
• Payment is made directly to the captain using the payment method agreed in the app.
• The final fare may change if the route or destination changes at the rider’s request.

Cancellation

Riders and captains can cancel a request before the trip starts. Repeated cancellations without good reason may lead to account restrictions.

Rider obligations

• Respect the captain and the vehicle, follow safety rules and wear a seatbelt.
• Do not carry prohibited, dangerous or illegal items, including through the delivery service.
• Be at the pickup point on time.

Captain obligations

• Hold a valid driving licence and a registered, insured vehicle that meets the Licences & Vehicles requirements.
• Follow traffic laws and provide a safe, respectful service.
• Do not let anyone else use your account.

Ratings and conduct

Riders and captains rate each other after every trip. Repeated low ratings or abusive behaviour may lead to account suspension.

Limitation of liability

Meshwar provides the platform “as is” and is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service or from the actions of captains or riders, to the extent permitted by law.

Intellectual property

All rights in the app, brand, designs and content belong to Meshwar and may not be used without prior permission.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time and will let you know about significant changes. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
